Event description Are you interested in further opportunities for continuing professional development (CPD) of your Teaching Assistants, or are you yourself a Teaching Assistant interested in further developing your practice in a Talk for Writting clasroom? This half-day course is ideal for practitioners who primarily work as teaching assistants within a classroom using Talk for Writing as the primary vehicle for the teaching of children's writing. 
Training objectives - Identify the role that Teaching Assistants can play in enhancing learning in a Talk for Writing classroom
- Provide practical examples of how to assist teaching in a Talk for Writing classroom
- Provide TAs with a 'toolkit' for the different roles that they can play at different points in the Talk for Writing process
