Schools Funding Webinar 2019

Event description The Schools Funding webinar is an online session relating to the changes to Kent school funding for 2019/20.

This is accessed via a secure portal which allows delegates to view information on the subject and listen to tutor explanations.

In addition to this, delegates will also be able to send instant messages to the tutor with any questions that they may have during the session.

Note: Delegates will require access to a computer with good broadband connection and audio in order to participate.
Duration / who should attend:

These sessions will last a maximum of two hours, depending on the number of queries raised by delegates, but can be left at anytime. Governors, Headteachers and Bursars are also invited to attend.

Once delegates have a confirmed place on the course they will be contacted with instructions on how to participate in the webinar nearer the time.

By the end of the session the delegates will:

• Be aware of the elements of funding paid to Kent schools for 2019/20
• Be aware of the changes to the funding from previous years
• Understand where they can find details of their proposed funding for 2019/20
• Have an understanding of what they need to consider when making projections for future year funding calculations
