Forest School Award OCN Level 1

Event description Kent Country Parks is delighted to be offering an OCN accredited Forest School Award at Level 1. Run by our experienced forest school leaders you will learn about the ethos, principles and practices of forest school. This course includes 25 hours of learning with a combination of 2 days training at our park along with self-study time to complete a short workbook in your own time.

As most of the course takes place outdoors please wear suitable clothing and footwear. Please bring your own lunch or we have a lovely cafe at the park.

Demonstrate basic Forest School activities
Be able to light and tend a fire safely
Unit 2 Health and Safety
Understand the health and safety risks a Forest
School presents
Be able to identify policies used in Forest School
