Event description Credit worthy - The aim of this training day for NQTs, Primary and Secondary Teachers is to raise awareness of ASD and ADHD, and how these conditions can impact on individuals with the conditions. The training provides an overview of the key characteristics of Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorder. It looks at how ASD and ADHD is diagnosed and considers the wide-ranging needs of individuals with the condition at school.

The days training, also aims to explore the strengths of individuals with ASD and ADHD, as well as the use of strategies to support the individual in the classroom. The training day will bring a mix of theory, practical activities, ideas and strategies that can be used to support individuals in Primary and Secondary school.
