NQT Conference 2021: What to expect in your second year of teaching?

Event description A fantastic opportunity for Primary and Secondary NQTs to access workshops focusing on what to expect in your second year of teaching.

Our Annual NQT Conference is online for 4 days with a live 60—90 minute workshop at 2pm each day. The live workshops will cover subject areas such as staff well-being and the pressure to build the attainment gap as well as SEND and challenging the more able. At least a further 4 recorded workshops focusing on other hot topics will be available to view from the 14th June. Further details of these will be published shortly.

Our keynote speaker, Vic Goddard, will deliver the first workshop of the week to open the conference. Vic Goddard, the Principal of Passmores Academy and star of the BAFTA nominated Channel 4 documentary Educating Essex, will be hosting a workshop sharing his approaches and wisdom on school leadership and facing challenges in your second year of teaching.

There will be four live sessions and at least four pre-recorded sessions which all booked and confirmed delegates will be given all links to.

This conference will run as interactive Zoom sessions. Delegates will be sent the links no later than 24 hours before the first session date. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.
