Making Maths Work in Mixed-age Classrooms (three part course)

Event description This is a research into practice course where delegates will work together to explore the available research on mixed-age teaching in Maths and trial ideas, feeding back their experiences to colleagues to compare and review.

This course is part of the Primary Schools Training Package.

This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Delegates will be sent the link no later than 24 hours before the start date. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.

Participants who are unable to install Zoom can join our training using the Zoom web client on their desktop web browser. The Join from your browser link will appear after the user clicks on the link to join the meeting. 
Training objectives - Explore the range of reports into mixed-age teaching and extract the key messages
- Become familiar with the process of matching objectives to suit any mixed-age combination
- Select preferred approaches to trial from a range of case studies
- Trial different approaches and share findings with colleagues.
