Event description Getting the Balance Right
Assessment for learning has been around for 20 years, but has it had the impact we've hoped for? What makes for good formative assessment, and what is the balance between formative and summative types of assessment? What is responsive teaching, and how can it help improve formative assessment practices? What are the practical techniques teachers and senior leaders can use to ensure that their assessments are both accurate and useful?

This session will run as an interactive Zoom session. Delegates will be sent the link no later than 24 hours before the start date. Please ensure you are able to access Zoom at least 1 hour prior to the session. Please note that these are not recorded and therefore not available to watch at a later date and delegates need to attend as a live session.
