Event description Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) is often hidden but recent revelations of institutionalised silence, increase of Serious Case Review (SCR) involving CSA, and strong links with Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) means organisations should have specific procedures for responding and safeguarding all the children and young people involved. All staff should be made aware of these and know how to follow them.
 
Training objectives This course will increase participants understanding of sexual abuse, including:
- Grooming safeguarding priorities
- Perpetrators
- When to be concerned
- Current issues
- Links with Child Sexual Exploitation
- Online Safety
