Please select your workforce portal from the main page then click on the forgotten password option and submit your email address. The system will automatically email you a copy of your username and a link to reset your password.
If you receive an error message 'this email address is already in use'. You already have an account or more than one member of staff is linked to this email address. If this is the case you will need to email cpd@theeducationpeople.org. The system administrator will email you your username and password.
When you are creating your account the second page enables you to add your establishment to your account. In order to add your establishment use either the 'keyword' or 'postcode' boxes do not enter information in both. Type the name of your establishment in the key word search or type in the 'postcode' box the postcode of your place of work and then click on search. The system should bring up your establishment which you then 'select'. If your establishment isn't on our database the system will ask if you wish to add the establishment click on this link and you will be required to fill out a form of the address of your establishment.
If you are changing establishments from your current one listed. Simply click on edit against your current establishment and add an end date and submit. Then click on the option to add new establishment and type in the 'postcode' box the postcode of your place of work then click on search.
Please log into your account and select from the top toolbar the tab 'my cpd online' then click on 'change contact details'. Once you have amended your details please submit.
Please select the workforce portal for your role. Select the option 'event catalogue' on the left hand side. Then select display event by subject. You are able to view full event details and book places from this tab. Alternatively you can select 'search event's' from the top toolbar and either add a key word or the event code if you know it. You can also search for the course via the event calendar if you know the date. Once you submit a booking request you will receive an automated email acknowledging your booking request and informing you that you will be notified when the booking is authorised and when your booking request is confirmed and a place allocated to you.
If you have a booking status that shows un-authorised an email would have been sent to your cpd leader to approve the booking. Once this has been done you will receive an email to alert you this has been done.
Please log into your account and select from the top toolbar the tab 'my cpd online'. Select the cancel a booking tab in the Events section.
Please log into your account and select from the top toolbar the tab 'my cpd online'. Select the events attended tab. There will be an evaluation link underneath the event attended. Only attendees can complete their online event evaluation. If there is not an evaluation link contact the event administrator.
If you have filled out an online evaluation, log in to your account select 'my cpd online' then select 'events attended' and find the course you are requiring and click on the option 'download certificate'. If the course does not require online evaluations you will receive an email to inform you that you can download your certificate.
An email from a member of the senior leadership team from the school/organisation is required to nominate the staff member they wish to have as their cpd leader to our helpdesk email address: cpd@theeducationpeople.org.

You have the authority to authorise bookings that staff have made and book places on their behalf. You can run reports to see what staff members have attended or due to attend by selecting 'my cpd online' and then selecting event reports. If you have staff that are leaving please alert the helpdesk by sending an email to cpd@theeducationpeople.org.
An automated email will be sent to you asking you to approve or decline a booking for one of your colleagues. Alternatively you can authorise bookings by selecting 'my cpd online' under cpd leader tools then scrolling down to 'un-authorised bookings requests'. You can also approve bookings from this screen.
You can only cancel a member of staff from a booking if you made the booking yourself. Select from the top toolbar the tab 'my cpd online' then scroll down to the option 'events I have booked for colleagues'. Find the event then click on cancel the booking. A cancellation request and this will be sent to the event admin. Please email the event administrator of the course or email the helpdesk: cpd@theeducationpeople.org if you want to change with the details of the course code, current staff member booked on and whom you wish to substitute them with.
